Put a Record On: What's Spookier than Country? (A Lot Actually)

Look, I know there is other music news in the world today, but nothing stops Don't Rock the Inbox from getting into the October spirit, especially when faux Halloween horror serves as a very good way to (temporarily, only for a moment) disassociate from actual real world horror. At the risk of sounding extremely basic, I really enjoy fall and the shifting of the seasons, and, as a mom of two kids, enjoy how much they enjoy it all even more.

So, for all those Halloween-themed hangs, drives to pumpkin patches or whatever you plan to do this fall, here's a playlist of spooky/fall-ish/haunting country songs (with not one but TWO versions of "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia," because we are rational people).
