Put a Record On: Summer Road Trip Playlist (& some other things for the road)

I've spent a good bulk of my summer on the road this year - driving to the east coast and back, to various spots in the south, to camp (which doesn't count as a road trip but parents know this is still time). Hell, over the winter break we drove all across Utah, Nevada and Arizona, then down to Florida in March, and I'm publishing this from a Chicago hotel room. We've been roadtripping, and I've listened to scores of podcasts, audiobooks and, of course, music: and sometimes you just need a very road-trip worthy kind of mix to keep you from falling asleep behind the wheel, or at least getting bored out of your mind.
