A brief missive this week. Here in Texas, it’s already so hot that you can’t really be outside without having a fan-mister situation blowing directly on you (or, of course, being submerged in water). Summer laziness is in full effect, and though I already created a very uptempo party-pop-pilled summer country playlist for you wonderful subscribers, I know summer includes many days for which Florida Georgia Line does not quite create the optimal ambiance (shocker). For those more chill moments, I present this Summer Porch Playlist.
I don’t have a porch sadly, so I’m kind of guessing here — but I think this assortment of sweet songs (yes, there’s a lot of finger-picking!) makes the perfect accompaniment to sitting with a cold beverage on a hot day. Below are a few of them!
