Vincent Neil Emerson is joining the DRTI official Zoom room tonight at 6 p.m. CT for our latest ~live event~, and you’re invited! I first saw Vincent at Tulips, a great venue in Fort Worth, and I was wowed by his rich, classically honky-tonk but not kitschy sound. It was amazing and almost disarming to see how well “25 & Wastin’ Time” fit in the series finale of Reservation Dogs (which for the love of G-d if you haven’t watched, hop to it!!) — it sounded just like a song that had always existed, that people had always two-stepped to. Emerson will be chatting with us about his upcoming album The Golden Crystal Kingdom, out November 10, and much more.
