“If You’re Gonna Leave” (live from the Kessler), Angel White: One of the best things about being on book tour last year was talking to local folks in each city about the music that they love - and no surprise that I heard about one of my favorites in Dallas, visiting Deep Vellum books (in conversation with Natalie, to boot!). And that person was Angel White. So much grit and depth in his voice - that kind of presence that forces you to hang on every strum and syllable. And he’s on tour with the Old 97’s this summer - a perfect lineup if you ask me. - MM [The Kessler rocks - NW]
