It's new Deslondes day, but we all know about my obsession — I want to hear about yours!

My listening tends to move in phases: find something I love, listen to too much ‘til I get bored, move on (and then happily rediscover it months or years later). I’m sure I’m not the only one. My husband Jonny, for example, has a rotating playlist of 10 songs that he’s into at any given moment that he plays all the time (he’s a much more methodical listener than I am, despite the fact that it is literally my job…). This past month has been a little hectic and occasionally stressful for reasons that are mostly dumb and work-related, and I’ve found myself coming back to one band repeatedly — a band whose virtues I’ve extolled often in this newsletter, and one I’m perpetually telling everyone I know to listen to: The Deslondes.
